Pandemic spurs the Latin America tech sector

As stated by this article by the Financial Times, according to the World Bank, LATAM has experienced a larger amount of health and economic crisis that any other global region during the pandemic.  

However, not all has been a negative outcome from the pandemic, as a tech boom in Latin America is making the economies of these countries more competitive and creating ease of access and more opportunities for those who did not have certain technology prior to the pandemic.

Some areas that this article points out as benefiting from a tech boom due to the COVID-19 pandemic are the financial services, education and health industries.
