The Pitch Competition

With the health care industry constantly revolutionizing, numerous innovative start-ups have stepped up to address the future and previous unmet challenges, leading to an increasing wave of investments, innovations and opening new doors for entrants from the technology and consumer industries.

We are excited to bring you the Innov8 Talks at FIME 2022, a start-up competition that will feature 20 innovative early and middle stage start-ups from across the world, pitching their ground-breaking ideas and battling on stage across three days. The winner will be picked by an esteemed panel of judges which will include industry leaders, investors, government officials and entrepreneurs.

The breakdown and concept

Competition breakdown

  • The competition will consist of 2 rounds and a final pitch-off
  • With 10 pitches per round, for 8 minutes each - take your turn to showcase how you are changing the face of healthcare
  • Top 2 finalists will be selected from each round!
  • The competition will run in person during FIME 2022, July 27 - 29

The format

    • Start-up stages: early and middle  
    • 2 Rounds, with 10 start-ups in each:
      • July 27 – Round 1: 10 Start-ups
      • July 28 – Round 2: 10 Start-ups
      • July 29 – Final Pitch-Off – (Top 4 Finalists)
    • 5 minutes to pitch and 3 minutes of Q&A with the judges
    • Top 4 finalists will compete in the finale on July 29 
    • 1 winner will be announced

     

The winner will receive prizes worth over $20,000
