NeutrArt

NeutArt neutral needle-free connector is a single-use, disposable connector intended for use with a vascular access device for the administration of fluids during IV therapy. The product is a needle-free neutral valve with an integrated silicone seal that protects the patient and healthcare staff from needlestick accidents during intravenous therapy by minimizing needle usage.

NeutrArt neutral needle-free connector has a smooth flat silicone surface for effective disinfection, has a clear housing to ensure all residue is fully flushed, clinically preferred internal split septum design allows for a straight fluid pathway, and minimal residual volume allows for lower flush volumes.

To access the NeutrArt neutral needle-free connector first swab the flat silicon surface with chlorhexidine/iodine/alcoholic disinfectant before connecting any syringe or IV set according to your hospital’s infection control protocol. Then, prime the NeutrArt neutral needle-free connector with saline. After that, connect the male luer of NeutrArt neutral needle-free connector port to the female luer of I.V. cannula or catheter hub. When the access luer is removed the septum returns to cover the cannula and closes the fluid pathway once again.
