During FIME 2023, we aim to accelerate sustainability and be able to run our event in an environmentally and socially responsible way whilst seeking to inspire sustainable development in the healthcare industry and across the region.

We do this not only because more than 80% of our attendees tell us that they care that our events are run in a responsible manner, but because it is the right thing to do for our customers, colleagues, and the communities we serve.

We would like to encourage you to join our sustainability efforts by completing the below 5 point checklist:

By working together, we can make the event more memorable, meet our audience’s expectations and reduce wasted time, resources, and costs.

 

  • Inspire the sustainable developmentof your industry by promoting yourcompany’s and your products’sustainability credentials.
  • Reduce your waste by ensuring thestructure of your stand is notdisposed of after the event but usedagain.
  • Be digitally present - Avoid printingand download the event app aheadof the event to plan your time.
  • Select energy-efficient lighting andequipment for your stand and besure to power down your equipmentat the end of the day.
  • Ensure you and your contractor are aware of and compliant with all health, safety and security requirements.

When you contract a stand designer/builder for the event, are you thinking about the following?

  • Can your stand be reused at other events you attend?
  • How can the stand waste be minimized?
  • Are they aware and compliant with the Health & Safety regulations?
  • Do you know who the end company building your stand is? Are they compliant?
  • Can you reduce the stand build time & save money by having a prefabricated build?
  • How can you lower your environmental impact by checking the builder's shipping method?
