Sustainability at FIME
We know how increasingly important sustainability has become
Organizing FIME gives us lots of opportunities to improve our environmental, social and economic impact in our region. We want to make our event more responsible and play a role in helping the market improve its own sustainability through connecting people with the networks and knowledge they need to help solve the big challenges in the healthcare sector.

1. Help our markets through inspiring sustainable development
We focus on:
- Using our content to support the sustainability of the market the event serves
- Inspiring our suppliers, exhibitors and other stakeholders to deliver a sustainable event
- Developing market relevant partnerships
- Partnerships with local entities and associations to elevate the event’s content offerings and features, including educational conference programmes and Transformation Zone where visionaries present their latest discoveries to transform the future of healthcare
- A platform for start-ups to pitch their transformative innovations at Innov8 Talks
2. Run the event in an increasingly environmentally responsible manner
We focus on:
- Reducing our event's carbon emissions
- Creating less waste
- Considering sustainability credentials of the items sourced for the event
- As part of our continuous commitment to our event sustainability FIME has switched the event electricity usage to being from renewable sources, thereby significantly reducing the event carbon footprints
- Promoting public transportation in reducing congestion caused by the event
- Reducing the quantity of print across marketing collateral
- Usage of recycled paper instead for some of the printed items that we could not yet move to digital
